The President...CORRECTED

Sorry it has been so long since I have posted, thanks for your patience! I graduated from my class and I am now officially a Kodaly Queen!

Jonathan and I got to furniture looking (not shopping) today. We will hopefully be moving in to our house soon and of course we have a wish list. We found a table that has a leaf in the middle that tucks inside when not in use and a beautiful entertainment center thing (you know the kind with doors).

Anyway the reason that Jonathan was off from school today was because the President of COLUMBIA was in town. Anytime President BUSH goes to his ranch in Crawford Jonathan is on lock down in the hanger. One time one of his friend walked out to have a smoke and looked down and there were about 20 red dots on his shirt. No one has ever attempted an escape again. But since the President of COLUMBIA is in town they aren't even allowed to have class. I guess they think that everyone in college is up to no good.

I DID CHECK WITH MY SOURCE AND SOMEONE TOLD JONATHAN IT WAS THE PRESIDENT OF CUBA. SORRY FOR THE MISINFORMATION

Wow, can you check your facts? This would be major news if it is true. Cuba is a communist country that we do not have relations with. The President of Cuba is Fidel Castro. I do not see anything about this at the CNN website.

Since you are now a Kodaly Queen, do we have to say "Your Highness?"

I think we have an extra dining room table and chairs if you want it.

So what did you do with Jonathan's day off?

Welcome back. And back with a bang! Pres of Cuba and then you misspell Bush's last name. Been reading too many beer bottles, eh? j/k I'm sure George would be happy to know that he is now associated with beer!

Colombian President Alvaro Uribe!!
I win! I win! I beat Chris with the web search!

That's a true feat Amy. Congratulations!!

I know. I'm still a little flushed by the challenge and victory. I think I need a nap.

I would have won but I needed cookies bad, so I volunteered to fix someone's computer instead of searching. But who knows? Maybe this person broke thier computer on purpose just to distract me?

That is cool about the Cheese Cake spam comment. I need to sign up for spam on my blog so that it looks like there are a lot of comments.

Chris,
On Jonathan's day off he came up to school to help me get my classroom ready for next week. Isn't he sweet?

Didn't you know that you were always supposed to call me"Your Highness?"

Are you interested in selling your dining room set?

Amy said...

Who would break their computer on purpose? That's terrible. I'd guess it's Juanita.

You may have our old dining room table and chairs. They have been sitting in our garage for like 3 years, your highness.

Yes, I would not put it past "Jaunita". Her, and her fiesty friend who shall remain nameless.

Chris said...

Becca, your highness, did you tell your "source" that they embarrassed you in front of the entire Internet, and thanks alot?

How about borrowing the set...that way, it would be out of our garage and put to good use, but we could still use it when we move again into a house with a bigger dining room.

Yes, that was very sweet of Jonathan to help you...are you looking forward to your new class/school? When does school start?

I just have to tell you...Emmy is sitting in my lap right now, and she was looking at your blog, and pointed to that tiny picture and said, "Josan, Becca"....so cute...I couldn't believe she could recognize you in that little picture!

"when we move again into a house with a bigger dining room."

Do you see the kind of pressure that I have to live with on a daily basis?

Anonymous said...

No pressure, sweetie...just looking at that picture on your wall :)

By the time we can afford that house, I assure you we will be able to afford a new table. :)

Hey, let's be neighbors in our big houses! It could soooo happen! It would be a small step towards starting the cult. We could refer to our houses as "the compound".

Rebecca said...

Amy,
I think that Jonathan would be an excellent leader in the compound because he has spent so much time in Waco

Rebecca said...

Chris,
Yes I informed him of the ramifications, thanks for bringing it back up.

Sincerely,
Your Highness

That is so sweet, I wish I was there right now. I miss all of you guys, I hope we can come home soon.

Hmmm...Amy does have that commanding presence, but Jonathan has Waco expereience. Tough choice. Who makes the best cookies?

Karen said...

I don't know about cookies, but Jonathan makes a mean milk shake. You better start practicing Amy!

Amy said...

Hello? People! Haven't we learned anything. Cults led by Waco people are doomed for failure. Sorry Becca. Your plan to weasel in as "First Lady" of the cult are doomed.
